Given the overwhelming evidence to the contrary, both here in Aotearoa and globally, as your article points out, sections of the media are clearly out of touch with reality for airing the coal industry’s premeditated dissembling. PEPANZ, now ERA, have a similar strategy ‘spinning from the same play-book’. Their ‘predatory delay’ tactics here have been very clearly documented in Terry Loomis’ books. Unfortunately, thoat predatory delay continues to work, holding media and government in thrall. So much for our ‘nuclear-free moment’!
