It is a public, moderated area were people can organise what they know and want to share.
This will likely be from media outlets that are not syndicated to the News Feed category.
That includes:
- links to posts in Social Media
- links to articles in mainstream media
- links to blogs not already syndicated in the News Feed.
In short, stuff that can’t be gathered automatically through RSS/Atom. That’s what the News Feed category is for.
